So what's on your list? Could be new releases or a dvd that you have just wanted for awhile... GM

Ken Burns: The Civil War

I had a copy. Sealed. I ended up giving
it away because someone close to me wanted it.

Though the person deserved it, I have been torn
with its absence ever since.

I put it on my Xmas request list.

I've informed my loved ones that I won't be buying the new X2 DVD, since I can wait for it. I've got the two separate Hitchcock DVD sets on there as well. Otherwise, I'm quite alright! Posted Image

I'm buying, or have bought for presents,

Disney Treasures from Costco
Punch Drunk Love
Barbara Streisand Movie Songs DVD
Pirates of the Carribean
Finding Nemo

Actually, my wife got a dog, so I get to spend the equivilant amount of money on anything I want, so I'll be doing most of the shopping for myself.

I talked my brother into buying the Looney Tunes Golden Collection for my kids (really it's for me though Posted Image )

Other than that, I think the only things I've asked for from other people are Band of Brothers and Spartacus Criterion Collection. Those are two I've been meaning ot buy, but something always gets in the way.

I've got "X-Men 2", "The Hulk", "Battlestar Galactica: The Complete Series" on my Christmas list. I was really hoping to get "The Best of Abbott & Costello Collection: Volume 1" (8 A&C movies on 2 discs!), but it doesn't come out until February 10.

As tempted as I am to go grab it NOW TODAY SOON GOTTA HAVE QUICK... Sorry, momentary DVD tourettes there...

Will tell parents and such that I'd LOVE the West Wing box a lot, plus the Looney Tunes, a couple of the PBS docs that I adore (The West, FLWright) and the Alien Quadrilogy box...

Unfortunately, with this beautiful addiction, I will still be picking up the LOTR: TTT box and the OUATITWest sets today....

Mom told me once that you're never supposed to buy anything for yourself past October 1 - It's all on the holiday list from there on out...

Mom, Peter Jackson... Peter Jackson, my mom...

Interesting how many mentions of the PBS docs there are. I guess it is a nice to have that you don't rush out to buy. I would love to get the Ken Burns Thomas Jefferson documentary.
