It is a great movie, and it's been at this price for quite a while now. I think there are some pre-existing threads on it, but nevermind them...if you happen to click on this thread, and you haven't seen the movie, BUY IT, don't rent it. It's only a few more dollars for the purchase, and this is a movie you'll want to watch more than once.

Agreed. It IS a great movie. I've been holding back because I have the DTS laserdisc version. But since that time I've upgraded to front projection so I better get the DVD now!

Is the disc anamorphic? I can't tell by reading the back of the packaging.
My ex-friend once told me that if I'm going to use big words, I ought to learn to use them correctly. I didn't mind what he said as much as I did his simultaneous tone of voice.

Jeff, it may be. My BB has missed quite a few price change markings, especially Donnie Darko. All were marked $22.99 and when I asked them to check, they were $9.99.

DeepdiscountDVD has the two pack of Dark City and Coma for $9.89. Interestingly enough, Dark City by itself is $14.39.

I picked this up at BB for $5.99 as well. I remember when this DVD was released it was considered top notch "reference" quality, and helped establish New Line as one of the studios to beat when it came to great DVD presentations. It will be interesting to see how it holds up to todays standards.
