The Blue Angel
The Sound Of Music
42nd Street
Perceval Le Gallois

Others, Grease, Guys and Dolls, Anchors Aweigh, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Cradle Will Rock, Broadway Melody of 1940, Yankee Doodle Dandy, The Wicker Man

I'm deficient in seeing hardly any Fred Astaire (and none of the best regarded ones), Busby Berkely, and no Bob Fosse films.

·Dancer in the Dark
·The Young Girls of Rochefort
·The Umbrellas of Cherbourg
·Topsy-Turvy

I altered my list from yesterday. I can't believe I forgot to include The Blue Angel, and also wasn't thinking in terms of Perceval Le Gallois being a musical, which of course it is.

I'm surprised Oklahoma! and The Music Man haven't been mentioned yet...
The Music Man is tremendous fun, with a lot of singable songs with great lyrics.

And if I were listing important or great stage musicals, Oklahoma! would be near the top of my list. Too bad that the film suffers from wooden direction and a use of color filters that now seem dated, but that I also hated at the time.

A Hard Day's Night would be at the top. I love that movie.

I haven't seen too many musicals, but I guess my list would include Fiddler on the Roof, West Side Story, a bunch of Disney flicks, Moulin Rouge, and South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut. ;)
