Doesn't the Brazil disc FROM Brazil have this same thing for a significantly smaller amount of money?

The Brazil from Brazil is cheaper ($13 vs $20) but the runtime says 124 minutes. The Brazil from Korea says a runtime of 142 minutes which is the director's cut runtime. Are the specs for the Korean version wrong?

The Brazilian DVD is the full European cut (142 min). (Note, slightly different from the Criterion cut). The transfer is gorgeous and up to domestic Fox quality.

Being the European cut, does it open with the black screen intro as opposed the cloud intro on the Criterion? Also, do you know what the other differences between the European cut and the Criterion are?

I also have the Korean BRAZIL. It *IS* 16x9.
Its very good from what I can tell watching on my 17" eMac.
I got it on sale for $9. every so often KDVD have these sales from various studios.
extended KAGEMUSHA, 16x9 LADYHAWKE also could be had from FOX for $9, as an example .
