Am considering DIY biwire speaker wires using Canare 4S11 wire and would appreciate any opinions of this wire. Thanks

I've been doing some beta tests with this stuff- and overall it's pretty good. My only complain is that it appears to be a bit "overkill" in terms of size-- but sonically I have no complaints.

Vince--at 69 cents a foot, this speaker wire seemed too good to be true--thus my question regarding opinions of it. Thanks

The Canare 4S11 speaker cable is decent as far as regular speaker wire is concerned, nothing special. I have my surrounds wired with it and in all honesty could not tell the difference between it and the 12 awg monster they replaced. Before placing it in surround duty I did try it for LCR duty and found I preferred the Nordost cable. FWIW speakers are Paradigm (60's and CC)
