Saw this for sale on Amazon and 800.com so I figured it just got released under the radar. But I couldn't find it at any B&M. I even say a copy for rent at Blockbuster!! Posted Image

Anyone now what the deal is with this one. Best Buy and CC don't even list it on thier sites, at least not when I checked.

I had this on order with DVD Empire. They sent me an e-mail last week saying it had been delayed a week. They did ship my copy yesterday. The B&M's may not have it until Tuesday.

Three truths about movies, as noted by Roger Ebert:

* It's not what a movie is about, it's how it is about it.

* No good movie is too long, and no bad movie is short enough.

* No good movie is depressing, all bad movies are depressing.

I was at Wherehouse Music today, and they had several copies. It's definitely out there.

I passed right by a Wherehouse Music Posted Image I knew I should have checked there, but they usually aren't too competetive on their pricing. Maybe it'll pop up next week.

It's a damn shame that the R1 is movie-only while the R4 is jam packed with extras. Posted Image

Hopefully we will see a SE in R1 soon. Till then, I'll rent The Dish (even if it's one of the better films of the year that I would love to buy).

I received my copy from an online retailer last Wednesday, so I don't know why everyone's not shipping it yet. It's a pretty good disc, aside from the lack of extras.
