I have lived with K-horns for over forty years and IMHO they are the best sounding loudspeaker ever made. Driven with tube amps they are not harsh at all. But if you don't like them, that's fine. If everyone had the same taste there would only be one loud speaker made.
That said, horns are the most efficient with least distortion drivers made. Try and find an older Altec "Voice Of The Theater" and you might like it. Other then that, you probably would like any of the JBL monitor line. However you will need several of any model with a lot of amplifier to push them.
