The title says it all. We'll each be drafting a League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (good guys) and a League of Extraordinary Villains - five characters for each roster.

Once again, the winner of any given match will be able to replace up to two characters from their roster with any two characters from the losing roster.

The drafting process will run 1 - 8, 8 - 1.

I triple dog dare somebody else to join this draft!

...with the exception of religious/political leaders
How restrictive are you going to be on the "political leaders" issue? I'm pretty sure there aren't any forum members carrying a political grudge over Alexander the Great or Charlemagne, for example.

Oh great, now I've opened the floodgates for all the anti-Charlemagne thread crappers. :)

Well, we need two more people...

Brad, I suppose those leaders you mentioned would be okay - I was thinking more along the lines of presidents, etc.

Do our choices have to be human? If, for example, I wanted to draft a Tyrannosaurus Rex, would that be allowed?

As long as you fellahs don't mind my silliness, I'll join in and fill out the roster. If you do mind my silliness, then that hurts my feelings. If you enjoyed hurting my feelings, then I understand. This one time I was at work and there was this girl that worked there and we all thought she was a not nice female dog of sorts, and me and another forum member (no names) had a running contest on how many times we could make her cry. That was damn wrong of me. As Mr. Clint Eastwood says, "We all got it comin' kid." And in this case, karma shall rule the day.

BK's pointless trivia question of the day:

Guess what I did for the 3 hours I was supposed to be training today?

Answer:
Sat and drank coffee and talked movies with the guy I was supposed to be training....he liked that last Halloween movie.....what a boob!

Yay! We have our eight. :)

I've shuffled the line-up and Martin goes first.

As usual, you get twelve hours to make your pick, then you're skipped - you can make your pick at any time after that.

Steve, can you answer my question?

And I should further clarify that, because a T. Rex isn't really what I have in mind. I mean non-human characters.

I assume I can pick either a villain or a gentleman on any round. I'll start with an obvious choice:

Gentleman: Gandalf the White

Can you list the draft order now so that those of us going on trips to Vega$ in the near future will know if we have to send you our pick in advance.

Edit: ooops - I see that you modified the first post... look over there - is that the Pope? Whooosh!

Martin: I'd like to not stray too far off-base, but pick what you will. :)

I'll take: The Shadow
