If you want to choose ONE thing you think is over-rated, what will it be? Also, if you want to choose ONE thing you think is under-rated, what will it be? There is no need to explain your reasons, if of course you want to offend football or home theater fans!

Only someone without kids would make a statement like that. There is nothing, I repeat, nothing in the world that can top having children. Everything else is overated when compared to having kids.

I am child-free, so I won't address the issue personally, but an Ann Landers poll done years ago, and periodically updated, found that more than 50% of parents would not have children again if they started over.

Unscientific for sure, and the polling might be statistically abberrant, but food for thought nonetheless.
