Angelo,

I listen to audio in my car well over 10 hours a week... Who says it's not important to have good audio in the car??

Ditto what Steven said.
I drive about an hour roundtrip a day to work so I need to have a nice system and plenty of music to choose from. My car system does just that.

Dave

Really hope you have a comfortable car. I am just getting back into Car Audio. I used to compete USAC and IASCA, but not in the last year and a half.

Ah, but now I have a new Trailblazer so the hometheater has to go to the back burner.

Thinking a single 12 Resonant Engineering or Elemental Designs or maybe a brahma?

This time I am designing the whole thing before I buy a single part.

I think I'm the winner:

- full time student 45min trip to college both ways, Thur I have to make 2 trips.
- full time pizza delivery guy Posted Image

I have an ED 12A sitting in my basement but I need to save up for the amp I want to buy. Trey to take a look at the kind of build quality that ED treats their A series with take a look here. I think if money was no object for me though I'd go for a beefy Brahma.

edit- Angelo good luck with the competition. I am kinda interested in trying my system for SQ.. I've always wondered how it works. Do they choose a selection to play in all of the cars and do they let you tune your system to it first before the judges review it?

hmm, you guys bring up a good point. i do spend alot of my day in my car driving to and from work and doing errands and such. yet my car audio system costs 6 times less than my home theater system...maybe I should rethink my priorities.

Well-

I just spent most of the last 3 months installing and building my car/SUV actually.

Link to my ride

As far as the materials they use to judge the sound system, they use their (IASCA) disc after you tune your car. Once you are in the lanes, there is NO MORE TUNING allowed.

This is actually my first competition with IASCA and Im going to be in the Rookie 600+ category.

Thanks
Angelo
