From what I'm seeing, Best Buy's $39 price is the best. Which blows my mind, I thought this was the regular price for PC games. Sometime, I must have been sleeping, the game companies successfully upped the MSRP to $50 and the sheep consumers accepted it.

Folks in the Bay Area may want to check their local Fry's for a two-day special pricing on Halo, reported to be $38.99 today (Wednesday) and tomorrow.

Yup, that's what today's SJ Murky News had as the price. Halo wasn't expected to be on the shelves before 4 pm, however, and it wasn't there when I stopped by this morning.

THanks for the replies. I'll proably stop by Fry's tommorrow on the way to best buy and check out both places.

For anyone still interested, LiveWarehouse has it for $34 plus shipping:

He obviously misinterpreted what it means to "be bullish."

I buy games about a year after they're released. You always get them for $10-$20, and at the same time its cheaper to upgrade your hardware to handle them. Not to mention by then most bugs are worked out with patches, and there is a good support community already thriving (mods, tips etc) - Cryo
