Hi all, Was wondering if anyone else is having this problem. My Sony DVP-NS755V will not play SACD's. Used to work fine, now doesn't work at all (with no changes to equipment or wiring). What is happening is when you put in an SACD it plays the first second of a track, then silence, though the counter still goes. Trying to advance to other tracks just plays silence. Happens on all SACD's tried. Player works fine for DVD's. I have it hooked up to a Sony STR-DE2ES receiver using the multi-channel input. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Nope. Darren, I've had the 755 since last fall & have no problems w/ SACD nor any other type of disc. Is the problem specific to hybrid discs? Maybe your lens is out of alignment & it can't read the multi-layer discs properly. Let us know what you find out. Cheers, Doug
