My water softener broke the other day and I decided to sit down on the computer to find out if I look up any repair information.
This got me thinking, I really have learned a lot of things from the internet. For example:
A smattering of HTML.
How to build loudspeakers from scratch.
How to build a wind-powered generator from an old car alternator. (I've never done it, but it's fascinating)
All sorts of facts about quasi-crystals, c30 molecules, and penrose tilings.
How to replace the drive gear in my garage door opener.
All sorts of home remodelling tips/ideas.
Not to mention all of the HT related knowledge I've gained from these very forums.
And that's just the tip of the iceberg... I've probably forgotten more stuff from the internet than I ever learned in school.
So, what have you learned from the internet?
