Anyone have any good recommendations for home theater or movie related books?

I already have the Theo book on home theaters,High End Audio guide for Everyone and an AFI encyclopedia, are there any others I should own?

Im really interested in learning/discovering about important films I have never seen before.

I was considering the following:

1) The New York Times Guide to the Best 1000 Movies Ever Made - Vincent Canby

2) The Great Movies - Roger Ebert; Hardcover

3) Master Handbook of Acoustics - F. Alton Everest; Paperback

4) Hollywood on Lake Michigan: 100 Years of Chicago & the Movies - Arnie Bernstein

This last one simply because I grew up in Chicago...Posted Image

Any comments/Suggestions???

I looked over the NY Times Guide - simply a collection of the published movie reviews. (not worth it) Posted Image

The Great Movies - read his chapter on The Wild Bunch. Pretty interesting insights and comments (worth it!) Posted Image

I also checked out Oopps! movie mistakes - Jon Sandys, it was simply a collection of continuity errors. (not worth it)

A Year at the Movies : One Man's Filmgoing Odyssey - Kevin Murphy looks promising might be picking this one up Posted Image
