HI, I have a hum problem with my AV setup that doesn't appear to be described on your web pages. My system has several components none of which are earthed (i.e. they are two pin power connections). In any case, all components are connedted to a single mains outlet via a multiple way adaptor. Dispite this I get hum from my speakers. The level of hum is not effected by the volume setting. Also if I disconnect all sources from the Reciever/subwoofer,except for the Optical out of the DVD player I still get hum. The hum only occurs when the DVD player is in dolby digital 5.1 or DTS mode. When it is in pro-logic mode there is no hum. When the reciver is running of analog inputs there is also no hum. Is there anything I can do to test or fault find? Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
