Sorry if this is in the wrong place...

Last night I tried to watch Austin City Limits on the PBS national feed via DirecTV. At times, there was a 'pop' and then the audio level would drop for a few seconds. The video was unaffected. I switched from digital audio to analog, but the problem persisted. Did anyone else notice this, or do I need to investigate further? I've always found ACL's sound to be top notch, but this was really annoying!

Sounds like that might have been a satellite signal dropout. Was it raining heavily outside when you were watching ACL?

No rain, and no loss of video, just a short 'pop' and the volume dropped about 10 dB. Hasn't happened since. Hopefully, just a fluke.
