Which narration will be used? The original broadcast had Dustin Hoffman narrating, but all video prints have had Ringo Starr narrating (there was even a third narration by Alan Thicke!).

but after a search on dvdpricesearch.com i see this.

I bought this for $2.50 at the flea market a couple weeks ago, I looked at a few minutes of it and it's from a videotape source. I'll have to watch it this weekend and see just how bad it is.

It seems to have been withdrawn - my original link to Harry's website now defaults to his homepage.

Very strange indeed - you could even pre-order through Amazon from Harry's site when I originally posted this thread.

Hopefully a new release date is set soon.

Now here's something strange on this title...the DVD is out as I rented it from my local video store a few weeks ago!!! I was shocked to see it sitting there as they normally stock only the latest titles. The video quality is much, much better than my old worn-out VHS tape. I've always thought that the animation is rather simple, but the story is a wonderful one.

Oh my God I suddenly remember this!! Oh, I have such wonderful memories of this from the early 70's and I never could find out what it was exactly since it wasn't really shown much in the intervening years.
Oh I'll buy this just for the memories.

I never saw this, though I have seen the advertisment pictures for it. All I ever listened to was a cassette my dad had. Maybe it was an 8-Track. I still have a cassette that I found a number of years ago and picked up. Have it right here as a matter of fact. I have a 2 hour drive tonight, I think I'll bring it.
