For all you Radiohead fans out there looking for the best deal on Hail to the Thief, i did a little "sunday circular" browsing and saw that Circuit City will have it Tuesday for $8.99 and Best Buy $9.99....this is for the regular edition, not the limited...

Tim, glad to be of assistance...i don't know what the limited edition has, i think it has a booklet or a poster or something....amazon says it has "special packaging", whatever that means.

The LE has the same disc content as the regular. The only difference is it comes with a fold out map with artwork and a lyric book. The regular edition has the normal type insert (which the LE doesn't have) with different artwork and lyrics.

Ah, just like Kid A, where the two versions had totally different artwork. I only bought the fancy version of amnesiac - were those totally different too?

And just to contribute to the point of this thread, last night Best Buy online was listing the limited edition at only $12.99!!!! I don't know how good they'll be at stocking this, but it will be my first stop tonight.

I got the limited edition of Kid A when it was released and I actually wish I had gotten the regular version. The cardboard packaging is a lot bigger than a standard CD and the disc itself is in a little cardboard pocket that is very difficult to get the disc in and out of. I ended up putting the disc in a jewel case. I'm getting the regular version of HTTT today.

A map of what? The place where they're hiding all the good new songs?

Just kidding. The album's solid but not spectacular. The direction hasn't really changed over three albums now, and they're starting to bore just a bit. :D

Just an FYI: at my local CC, the sticker on the disc indicates a price of $13.99, with a sign at the front of the bin indicating a sale price of $12.99. It rings up $8.99 as Matthew indicated earlier. Don't let the phony "$12.99 sale price" fool you...
