A while back I started a thread asking how to capture still on a Mac. Someone came in with info about YADE, which I have been using. The problem is, it doesn't work with most Warner titles and a few others. There was also another app which was OSX only. I want to get that app, but now the thread is gone. I'm hoping one of you guys who are using that app can jump in here and let me know what it is and where I can find it.

Thanks.

VLC for OS X is a DVD player that allows you to do screen caps.

You can do screen caps with the Apple DVD Player using Snapz-Pro from http://www.ambrosiasw.com/ if you have an Nvidia or other Quartz Extreme capable ATI graphics card...

Patrick, thanks for the info. I currently have the ATI Rage 128 Pro card that came with my computer, and it doesn't seem to allow caps with the Apple DVD player. I want to move up to 2 displays and had considered the Radeon 9000. Will that allow me to use Snapz Pro with the Apple DVD player for caps?

YADE will allow you to do this, though I'm not sure forum rules allow a download link due to its potential "other" uses.
He obviously misinterpreted what it means to "be bullish."
