I have been watching this show in repeats on Scifi channel. It really was a good show. And from what I read it did well in the ratings. But, it was on a major network(CBS) and got cancelled.
Bring back John Doe! Or at least resolve the cliff-hanger with a 2hr movie or as an extra on a dvd release.

It was a nice sleeper show, but might have been a little too "out of the box" for network fare. This could have been an anchor show on the Sci-Fi network or even FX though.
The star is now on Without a Trace.

Contrary to how it sometimes feels, major communications companies aren't in the habit of throwing away something successful. N&A, if I remember correctly, started off OK but the good ratings didn't last.
