This is great news-hopefully it's done right. No word on whether Steve Purcell is involved though.

Old news. Posted Image
Mahatma Gandhi, as you know, walked barefoot most of the time, which produced an impressive set of calluses on his feet. He also ate very little, which made him rather frail and with his odd diet, he suffered from bad breath. This made him...a super-callused fragile mystic hexed by halitosis.

Gamesh....

I bought the original b&w 'Sam and Max' one-shot comic all the way back in the 80s...way before any thoughts of video games. I thought it was funny as hell. It was published by Steve Moncuse's "Fishwrap Press", which was created as an outlet for his "Fish Police" title, which was also pretty good.

The game should include, at a minimum, the original game as a bonus. Easter egg?

Actually, if you're looking for the comics, the best thing to grab would be this , which collects everything that I know of. Really funny stuff ("those astronauts just didn't have the stones to try this") that I wish there was more of.

I'll second that idea to include the original-especially if it's the "talkie" version (with XP support if possible). My copy was lent out and lost a long time ago, and I want it back. One of the best adventure games ever.

Awesome! I know it's a whole year away, but damn, I want it already.

You can get the old one for $20 with DoTT and Fate of Atlantis from lucasarts.com. They'll all run with sound and speech using VDMSound.

Cool. I like Sam & Max. I really enjoyed the Sam & Max game called Sam & Max Hit The Road which, IMO, is a good adventure game with lots of humor.
