Currently I've only seen the first two seasons of DS9 and don't want anything spoiled for me. Is it safe to watch Nemesis or should I wait until I've finished seeing the entire series?

I donlt remember them mentioning anything about deep space nine.. it would help if you seen next generations series.. there is alot of references to that.. they have captain janeway in the movie.

The movie will give away nothing to DS9. DS9 is almost pitched by B&B as a non-existant entity because, I guess, it constitutes the kind of writing quality that does not exist in trek at this moment.. 
So, don't worry, won't give away anything. Movie has some solid moments.. and some weak ones. Was not bad in the general sense, just came out at definitely the wrong time in relation to other films.

I'm in the same boat you're in, John, and the movie didn't spoil anything as far as I could tell.

Thanks for the replies. I guess I'll check it out next week. I just wanted to make sure there weren't any huge spoilers regarding the dominion war or other DS9 happenings.

Actually "Nemesis",being the 10th trek film, has references to every Star Trek TV series, from TOS to Enterprise (kinda like Die Another Day). There is a small reference about the Dominion War, but it doesn't spoil anything.

There was a spoiler, but it was cut, dunno if it's in the deleted scenes

Actually, the reference to the Dominion War does give a little hint about what's coming up in DS9. However, they don't tell you what happened, so I'd say you can watch the movie with impunity.
