Looks similar to the Eclipse Titanium Pro 18" manufactured by TC Sounds, except with T/S specs a little more suited towards home theater. Am I close? Does it use the same magnet structure?

My apologies, in the e-mail flurry between dB and I, I juxtaposed the TSP's from the Pro variant of this woofer, and the Home variant. dB asked that I post this:

"The correct small signal parameters are below, these were measured on one of the worlds most sophisticated non linear measurement devices, and yes they are accurate. We cannot post pix till we have finalized our non disclosure agreements, and YES the driver is built by a VERY reputable mfr, who you are all more than familiar with! NO this is not an EC Ti-18 Pro, it has MUCH more coil and more magnet. It's been designed SPECIFICALLY for the home environment, and has a more sophisticated motor, and will work in moderately small (relative to woofer size) PR/Ported boxes. Not to mention it moves more air at lower distortion than any other woofer I have ever been involved with.

If there really is enough interest, I will make this happen for you. Call it "theBeast II" if you like. Let us know if you're interested.

Le is very important IMO when it comes to HE drivers as they typically have the unwanted high Le's.

Please understand this is just a feeler to see if there might be interest in a STUPENDOUS 18" driver heretofore unavailable to the DIY community. It was my thought I might be in a position to give back to my roots. The parameters posted above are from a year old prototype pre-dating Eclipse's 18, and was made before the copper I needed tooled came off tool. The driver I would release should there be enough interest will have a MUCH flatter inductive rise, moderately higher VAS, slightly lower Fs and much lower Le. Basically it's the Aura killer I'd been working on before leaving the DIY scene.. This is a zero profit endeavor. Merely a means to give back to the group I came from and I am only facilitating it. If there is enough interest, I will pursue it, if not, I'll just hang on to it. Let us know if there's interest. We'll go from there. As to Price, think T*m*lt.

If it isnt too expensive, Id be happy to check it out in the near future.
