Welcome to my Superheroes and Villains Draft.

Okay, we'll be picking superheroes and villains in this draft with the goal of compiling the ultimate fighting force. How does one manage that when your picks are being stolen left and right? Well, there's a new twist in town: once voting starts, the winner of a given matchup has the option of replacing any "weak" links on their team with stronger or more desirable members of the loser's team. Example: say you win a match and your opponent has Batman on his list. You have some relatively wimpy hero that you picked out of desperation. You give him the boot and replace him with the Dark Knight. What this means is that the lists of the winners will constantly be changing while the losers still have a vested interest in sticking around - they can root for their favorite hero or villain to be part of the winning team.

Here are some websites that may aid you in the drafting process:

Since there's a lull in the sign-up process, I'll run my big fat mouth.

You could have each person draft five heroes and five villains in whatever order they prefer. The voting matchup is heroes vs. heroes and villains vs villains. The winner steals up to two of each type from the losing team.

At the end of it all, the last person standing should have the best five heroes and the best five villains. A final voting round pits them against each other to determine who triumphs in the ultimate battle of good vs. evil.

Just a suggestion. It gives everyone an equal incentive to draft heroes and villains.

That's a good idea - let's do it. Posted Image

Everyone gets 10 picks - 5 heroes and 5 villains.

Now we just need to fill five more slots...

Okay, it doesn't look like anyone else is gonna sign up so we'll run with twelve. We'll just have a three-way final.

Remember that you need to pick five superheroes and five supervillains.

After randomizing the players...

Steeve Bergeron is up.

On deck:
