I have two of Akira Kurosawa's films for sale: Throne of Blood and Seven Samurai. These are both put out by Mei Ah Laser Disc Co, and are NOT Criterion Collection editions. I purchased Throne of Blood from a HTF member recently, who sold it because it would not play on his DVD player. However, I was able to play it on both my Sony DVD player, and my Hitachi DVD-ROM drive. Throne of Blood is 100 minutes in length (single sided), and Seven Samurai is 200 minutes (double sided). Both discs are free of any scratches or defects. Also, both films are in a 4:3 format. I believe this is the original format, since the Criterion versions of both films are also in this format. The soundtrack is in Japanese, with optional English subtitles. These films offer a glimpse into the earlier works of one of Japan's most famous film makers, at a bargain price of $13 shipped. Thanks, Joseph
