I recently purchased the Hughes HDVR2. I absolutely love this thing. I have season passes on my favorite shows, including the 6:30 News, which I can watch whenever I get home. Pausing and rewinding live TV is still freaking out the wife and kids. The only thing that I find disappointing is the slow performance of the Live TV guide. Much slower then the RCA and my other Hughes satellite receivers. Is this a known issue? It's so slow that I literally have to wait for the screen to redraw itself whenever I hit the guide buttons to quickly. Sort of reminds me of the old websurfing days on a 28.8 modem! Any suggestions?
