Very cool news about Umberto D. :emoji_thumbsup:

I've heard The Honeymoon Killers is pretty good - Martin Scorsese was the original director - so I'll pick that one up.

Not familiar with The Pornographers but it's a film by Shohei Imamura so it's probably worth a look.

Lots of interesting movies from Criterion lately...

Some covers, I think the Honeymoon Killers one is quite good
Now there's an understatement - it's one of the greatest covers ever designed! It's totally original, sums up the film's pulp Americana setting perfectly, and, most ingeniously, each of the six other little advertisements feature elements from the film itself. Just pure brilliance!

Criterion used to have the lamest jackets on their Laser Discs years ago and their initial DVD artwork followed suit. But lately, some of their artwork has been truly inspired. The Fear and Loathing slipcase and jacket design, as well as, as the Antoine Doinel box set are among my favorites.

I think the Honeymoon Killers artwork captures the "mood" of the film perfectly. ;)
