Jeff -

Is it my imagination or an optical illusion? I could swear that the flexi is sagging in the middle, except for the top shelf...

The stands linked above by David are (I believe) the Wood Tecnologies line of product. I happen to have just gotten 2 sets of those stands for my set-up, and they are very nice. They go together very well, needing only about 10 minutes to assemble each stand. They are very sturdy, and come with carpet spikes for stability.

Just another idea: If you did not want to build stands you could just go to your local Michael's store and buy Plaster Pedestals for a decent price, then texture and paint them what ever color you would like...

Win Roy,

I checked the picture again and sort of see what you are talking about. Having sat in front of it for many hours I can say that I have not noticed the sagging though. It may be due to the picture and how it was taken. When I assembled the flexi I used a level to make sure that every shelf was correct.

those are not diy's those are speaker accesories sold by mkspeakers.

but speaker pedestals like those range from 300 dollars to 500 dollars "EACH" there are several brands out there that make pedestals.

but i dont wish to speand that much money otherwise i wouldve just gotten the floor standing models of my bookshelfs since itd be cheaper lol

but i am interested building one for myself from scratch. the only prob is that im not too keen with contruction. or does anyone else know any other suggestions with diy's?

stereophile had actually recommended stacked cinder blocks with gloss spray paint of all things hah
