I was going to upgrade my SR6200 to an SR7300 OSE, but my dealer run out of receivers, but he has an SR9200 (on display, used not new).

Suggest me, how much can I offer my dealer $$$$$?

Thanks,
Pablo

Pablo,
Try this site. They have the upgraded version of the 9200 for a great price. They are an authorized dealer for Marantz so maybe your dealer will price match. This is the only place so far in the states where i have seen the THX Ultra2 upgrade for the 9200.

Good Luck,
Dalton

Hey Dalton....they are not selling the upgraded version of the 9200...and accessories4less sell refurbished Marantz units.

Do you mean your dealer will trade in the 6200 for the purchase of the 9200? If so i would do that because the market it not so good to sell the 6200. I would also pass the refurb because the demo probly has a full warrenty vs 1 year and like most people already know on the boards the x200 and even the new x300 have a significant rate of failure, even if it's a refurb you shouldn't assume it is fixed compleatly, like my defective marantz 6200.

The 8200 and 9200 have not been plagued by the problems that have afflicted the lower-end x200 and x300 receivers. I suspect the 8200 and 9200 have normal failure rates.

Thanks guy for you comments and suggestions,

Dalton,

Thanks for the link, but the problem is that I live in guatemala, and shipping it from the states could end ultra expensive. But I'll reaserch with shipping company and customs.

Erick Lee,

Pablo, you are probably in the $2,000 US range to upgrade from the 6200 to an open-box 9200.
Is the same amount I was going to offer him, but he already told me he wants $2500, but I dont know if it is a good deal, for that amount I could go with separetes or a really good amp.

Thanks again guys for your suggestions, and if you have more, keep them coming
