I was a huge fan of the first NBA Street game. EA Big did a wonderful job bringing back the spirit of NBA Jam and making a much more fun basketball game, for a single player or a group of friends. This game looks to improve on the first one in every way.

NBA Street 2 for me. I liked the first one and the second one looks even better.

For those Blockbuster deals, is that a regional thing? My Blockbuster doesn't have an advertised special, and it says that Ratchet & Clank is $39.99.

Is this one of those specials that if I brought the game up to the counter, it would ring up at $19.99 even though there's no mention of the special?

I wanna pick up MechAssault and Ratchet & Clank

Call your local blockbuster. I did and picked up Ratchet and Clank (new) for $19.99. I have been playing it all weekend. this game is great!

Have any of you seen a good Dreamcast deal lately? I'm looking for the console, Crazy Taxi, and the Sonic Games all in one bundle. I'm hunting on eBay, but if you hear of anything, please let me know.

Also stopped by my local Best Buy and saw that they had gotten in huge shipments of both Minority Report and Reign of Fire for Gamecube at 9.99 each.

EBgames.com has Capcom vs. SNK 2 and Taz:Wanted for Gamecube, 19.99 each. Also, their B&M stores usually have the same prices in the system even if the game is marked differently on the shelf. So these games could qualify for the (in-store) rebate deal I described in last week's roundup.

The Blockbuster deal is good in my area, too. But it's unadvertised. Ratchet and Clank on the sticker was $39.99, but I brought it up to the cashier, and had him ring it up for me, and he said $19.99.

So I got MechAssault and Ratchet & Clank for $19.99 each

Has anyone seen new copies of Final Fantasy Anthology and/or Chronicles in your local stores? I'm hoping to find it at a local store and for less than the $42+shipping that Ebgames wants.

Edit: Also... I got a $15 gift card from EA.com today in my email. If you get their emails, be on the lookout.

Zelda for the Cube is $44 and NBA Street 2 (all consoles I believe, at least PS2) is $45 at Costco. Not great deals, but probably better than any other store.

Star Wars: Clone Wars for Gamecube is 19.99 at CircuitCity.com free shipping.

Dead to Rights for Gamecube is 19.50 at GameExpress.com (gexpress.com). I've ordered from them, good service.

Monsters, Inc. for Gamecube is 19.99 (used = 24.99; weird) at Gamestop.com.

Butt Ugly Martians for Gamecube is 19.99 (pre-order, release date 5/20/03) at Buy.com.

I bought Clone Wars for Gamecube at my local Circuit City at lunchtime today. Sticker said $39.99, but it rang up at $19.99, same as on their web site. Even if it hadn't, they've matched their web site price before for me, so it's definitely worth checking out B&M if you're close to one and interested in this game.
