I seem to recall MGM stating that they were going to issue a new edition of William Wyler's classic 1939 version of WUTHERING HEIGHTS for release in 2003 but it there hasn't been any news.

Does anyone know anything about this title?

Great film.

I thought I heard about a re-release as well.

I love this film, and would love to see a re-release, as I didn't pick it up the first time around.

Since Turner Classic Movies started showing the Goldwyn movies this year, the MGM DVD's have stopped. My theory is they must have an exclusive on them for the moment. MGM also cancelled The Westerner and Barbary Coast before they were released.
