I have a Sony DAV-S550 DVD/home theatre system and a Panasonic DMR E30 DVD recorder. I've successfully copied my home videos onto DVD-R using the Panasonic, and the finalised discs play perfectly well on the Sony as well. *However* when I try copying a disc playing in the Sony onto the Panasonic, the Panasonic refuses to copy. I can understand this refusal if I were copying a commercial disc, but I'm trying to make disc to disc copies of my own home movies. Posted Image

Please does anyone know a way out of this problem? I've tried all possible permutations of connections between the two machines, all with the same result.
