I'm having a major problem with my Panasonic CT-32SF36 (32" SuperFlat standard def TV). I turned it on yesterday morning, and there's concentric rings of rainbow-like color over the entire screen and the screen is shifted slightly to the left.

I did the Panasonic service mode trick (set the timer to 30minutes, exit menu, set tv to ch.124 and use the front panel vol down to zero) and the display only says "CHK 07100".

I checked the cables and other inputs... same problem.

Here's how the TV looks...

And here's how the same frame looks on another TV...

Any ideas what the problem might be? Doesn't look good to me...

Thanks!

Boy, you guys were a lot of help. :)

In case anyone is interested, here's what happened...

Tweeter Etc., the place where I bought it, quoted me MINIMUM $175 labor, $70 parts, and $25 bench charge. That's $270 minimum regardless of what they find wrong. I've given Tweeter a lot of business over the years, but I'm sorry... that's a rip off. Oh, and they said it would be 3 weeks to get a quote plus time to repair.

So yesterday I brought it to a local repair place listed on Panasonic's website. They called back today... bad power supply and degausing filter. That's about what I expected given what the screen looked like. They want $125. I can pick it up tomorrow. Less than half what Tweeter wanted and MUCH shorter turn around.
