Panasonic RV 32 Stiil have problems on 2nd layer discs ? (1 Viewer)

Guys,

Looking at audioreview I´ve found some user complaining about problems reading disks with 2 layers on the Panasonic RV32. Does it still happen or was it just on the first units ?

My sister-in-law wants to buy one and I´m not sure to let her.

Any thoughts ?

I have had an RV32 since September and I have never experienced a single layer switch problem with it. It is a little slow sometimes on the switch, but this is well known and documented and not considered a problem, just an annoyance.

I know several people with RV32s and they haven't had any problems.

I also have had my unit for about 8 months and no problem here. Just a little slow sometimes like Jim said.
