Put me down for A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH aka STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN and TWENTIETH CENTURY.

Also, I wouldn’t mind copies of THE GORGON and THE MAD MAGICIAN.

I second Patrick's request for UPA cartoons. James Thurber's A UNICORN IN THE GARDEN, Poe's TELLTALE HEART, GERALD McBOING BOING, and a few of the better Mr. Magoo shorts would be a start. I, too, wish BEDFORD INCIDENT would get the letterbox treatment. IN COLD BLOOD for the ninetieth time.

Columbia have Robert Altman's 'California Split' - this is one of several key Altman films that have yet to see a DVD release. How about it, Columbia?

I too would love to see California Split released. Would also buy My Sister Eileen, Repulsion, Twentieth Century, Providence, In Cold Blood and A Matter of Life and Death, all already mentioned in this thread.

I'd add, off the top of my head, The Go-Between, Tess, Images, The Front, and the not-great-but-I-like-it-anyway The Competition.

Mothra, The H-Man, and Battle in Outer Space are, AFAIK, no longer owned by Columbia. I believe that the rights reverted to Toho sometime in the last decade, so I presume that they will not be on DVD in R1 any time soon...

I'm not sure if Columbia still has the rights to this or not, but David Mamet's Homicide (1991) is one I'd also like to see.
