setting a dolby digital receiver to a dvd player

ok i have a denon avr-3200 receiver and a toshiba. avp-4700 dvd player i have them set up to the 6 ch. ext. input on the receiver now does anyone know what do i do with the dvd player what do i do with the dvd player so that it plays dolby digital when i play a dvd. Don,

Most DVDs have only Dolby Digital sound, and that's what you'll get. On those that offer other formats (typically, DTS), just select the Dolby Digital track from the disc's menu. M.
