I'm a big fan of the 'Box... but I miss having an old-school side-scrolling shooter to play. When are we gonna' get something like Gradius or R-Type for the 'Box? This is my biggest complaint about the game selection so far. The closest they've come is Hunter: The Reckoning, but I want a good ole' scrolling spacecraft shoot'em'up, dammit!

Sorry... just ranting.

5 seconds after never? :D

I seriously don't think there is a chance... I just don't think it would sell well in todays gaming market (where 1 title eats up all the sales and only the strong survive).

You are better off with GBA or NES :)

I'd get a Saturn or a PS2(for the PS1 games and the upcoming Gradius and R-type). If you get a Gamecube, Ikaruga is about all you'll have, and it's not nearly enough. You could also get a Dreamcast and play:

Ikaruga(great)
Zero Gunner 2(decent)
Mars Matrix(very good)
Giga Wing 2(very good)
Giga Wing(decent)
Bangai-O(best to be had anywhere)
Gunbird 2(crappy)
