Recoton (parent company to AR, and until recently, NHT) files for Chapter 11 (1 Viewer)

Until very recently, Recoton was the parent company to NHT. Today, Recoton filed for Chapter 11 protection. Despite the sale of NHT, Recoton is still the parent to another classic name in the loudspeaker business, Acoustic Research (AR). I wonder what will happen now....

Hmmm Boy it would be nice if Harmon Audio picked up AR
at least they are a bit more stable...


It all comes back to the CEO they pay em big money and they
don't do thier jobs..

Bummer for the people that actualy worked for the company
and I KNOW how it feels.. Considering my companies stocks
shot from $55.00 a share down to it's current $6.53 a share
(holding) and loosing a lot of the work force by Early
Retirement Options (ERO).

This is why AR's prices have fallen over the last 5 years
and this is why you can actualy find AR selling it's brand
new (not remanu) products on Ebay.. They are trying to save
a sinking ship or just liquidating assets...

Hrmm this is somewhat good.. Maybe they will cut loose with
some AR1's for cheap!
