Need advice on crossover setting on receiver (1 Viewer)

Hello forum members-I need your expertise.I am purchasing a Rotel receiver soon and I need to know what crossover setting to use.My speakers are Mirage OM series all around.The mains and center are rated down to 38 hz but the rears are only rated down to 80 hz.My current Onkyo TXDS595 receiver doesn't have an adjustable crossover so I have no experience in this area.My sub is an SVS 25-31pci.Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. -Lee

80hz for movies. Anything lower and you're going to be cutting off a good portion of the LFE channel. Also, a good portion of the bass in most movies is contained in the main channels and your SVS will do a better job with this than your Mirage speakers. For music, you might want to experiment with 60hz as well.
