I have a Win98 PC networked to my main WinXP computer at home. No problem.
But I was wondering how, if at all, I can gain access to the C: drive of the Win98 PC from a DOS box on the XP machine.
I have shared the C: drive on that machine and given it a name, but its not the kind of thing you can type at the DOS prompt to switch drives, is it? I tried it a few different ways and am now totally confused.
The reason is, at work, someone uses a few old DOS programs, and I am wondering how they might work after a network upgrade. We are currently running an old Novell LAN. The new one might be a Peer to peer.
Thanks.
