I'm currently running a JBL SCS-150 SI package from my Pioneer VSX-D411. I consider the receiver the weak link however I'm aware that the JBL's are not the ideal. I'll be upgrading my system soon and the question is, should I upgrade my speakers to JBL NSP1II plus a PB10 Sub or should I upgrade the receiver and keep the 150s? Which would make a bigger diference soundwise, new speakers or new receiver? Thank you very much for any responses.

Regards,

André

New speakers, as long as the amp has enough power to drive them. BTW, don't limit yourself to just JBL's. They do represent a good deal in today's market, but there are many other good brands out there.
