Three things stand out to me so far:
1. The AL East is shaping up to once again have all teams finish in the exact same order, which has --unbelievably-- happened the last five years. (Yankees, Red Sox, Blue Jays, Orioles, Devil Rays (who swapped divisions with the perennially cellar-dwelling Tigers).
2. The 2003 Detroit Tigers may be the worst team in MLB history. That distinction would require quite a bit of ineptitude, but I honestly think this team would have trouble competing in AA ball. They are getting pasted in every game, are hitting about .100 as a team, and have few recognizable names on the roster. I think 120 losses is a possibility this year. I feel for Tigers fans.
3. Is Ken Griffey the Grant Hill of MLB? The guy cannot stay healthy and is getting hurt every year in April.
