I just ordered their starter set. They also have lots of dividers for genres as well as individual band/artist. I've been looking for some pre-printed things like this for a while, I figure someone else probably is too.

Anyone else have creative ways to organize growing cd collections?

Aaron, I've seen these in some used CD shops and have thought about getting them myself. Part of me thinks it would make my collection look like a store, but it would make discs easier to find. I would go with the simple letter dividers. I think dividers by artist would be a bit much.

Thanks for posting the link.

Thanks. I ordered the Starter Packs. I was starting to select a whole bunch of bands and artists, but it was turning out to be too expensive. I'll get those later.

KeithH,

I've been looking for some decent dividers that don't make my collection look like a store too. I think these will work out nicely. I'm not sure about the artists yet either, but I do like the fact that they have some info about the artist on the card. That's pretty neat.

Mike,

Glad I helped. I thought about doing genre and artist but I figured I'll start with the starter and see how I like 'em. I'm also curious to see how these look in my dvd rack. I'll be ordering some more of them if they don't look too bad.

Has anyone found something similar for DVD?

Aaron, the info. about artists is a nice touch, but I still couldn't see going that far with it.

I haven't seen any dividers for DVDs.

I actually think making my CDs look like a store can be kind of neat, in a kitch sort of way. Thought it would probably just encourage people to borrow my stuff even more.:)

I have my jazz stuff and rock stuff seperate, so I don't know if I'll have two starter kits at some point. As for band/artist names, I may end up just getting a few for the bands I have the most CDs of, like Dylan, Rush, Crimson, Miles, Mingus, etc.

Thanks for the link. I've always wondered about these, but never went to any effort to actually look for them.
