LA area members, I am thinking about upgrading my receiver and would like to know a good place to check them out locally. I'm particularly interested in listening to the Onkyo TX-SR500 and 600. The main things I'm looking for are DTS (only have DD at the moment) and if possible DPL2. ES and EX aren't of any concern. For reference I live in the no-man's land between Beverly Hills and West Hollywood and would prefer closer places if possible. Thanks for your help! - Guy

You might also try Shelley's audio and Paris audio. Both these stores have locations in the valley and I think have a store in the west LA area.Being audio stores, they are very knowledgeable and friendly.Dont know if they carry Onkyo, but if so,they would be setup correctly for testing. Good luck and happy shopping.
