To compliment the Scores Draft. Here's how I'm defining soundtrack:

1) Music composed not specifically for the film.

2) Music that plays a vital part in the narrative of the film. This will mostly apply to musicals, but there may be other instances.

Hopefully this clears up most of the grey area. Questionable picks may be disputed and voted on if necessary. There will be 10 rounds.

A word on this draft, and drafts in general: please remember that you are in a draft, and there are other people waiting for you. It bugs me to see people make posts in other threads and then disappear without making their draft pick when it's their turn. I will gladly keep track of your picks via Private Message if you anticipate not being able to check the thread for a long time. Or if you don't trust me, PM someone you do trust who can vote for you (but please let me know who it is beforehand).

Alright then, let's give it a whirl. Maybe we'll stop before 10 rounds if it seems like people are struggling to make good picks.

After randomizing, our draft order is:

Hunter P
SteveGon
Angelo.M
Dome Vongvises
ErikG
ChuckDeLa

Well, I'm gonna use up my first few picks to grab up the crowd pleasers in a blatant attempt at garnering votes. I'll throw in my less appealing choices at the end, just like a bill in Congress.

O Brother Where Art Thou?
Many, many weeks at the top of the charts have to account for something right? This there hillbilly music listens up real good.

Side note: I love/hate going first in a draft. I did fantasy basketball last year and I chose first. You know that you gotta pick Shaq even though Kobe isn't going to be around by the next round.

Good choice, and one I would've chosen eventually if no one else had. For me, the movie rekindled an old interest in bluegrass, and the soundtrack is an excellent listen.

Steve is up!
