I just picked up a used DVDO ISCan Plus V2. My TV, a Philips 60PP9601, has a VGA input I want to use (my progressive-scan Panasonic DVD-XP30 is connected to its only other HDTV input).

I see that Monster VGA cables are a whopping $200 (I haven't looked for best price, but still...). I have a shielded VGA cable from http://Dalco.com I can use, probably about 7 or 8 years old. I see they currently cost about $7.

Is the shielded cable from Dalco an okay choice, or a really bad choice, or what? If bad, is there a middle ground between the $7 shielded Dalco cable and the $200 Monster cable? What would be a reasonable choice for my Philips 60PP9601, which is a 60" 4:3 HDTV?

Many Thanks,

Greg

I don't think you will have any problem with the cable you already have.
