Hey all!

I just installed my first projector and have come up against a wall. My pull-down screen hangs down right in front of my components and I can't use my remotes through it. I tried using Radio Shack's new RF/IR remote with command station but it only comes with 1 IR extender module and doesn't control all of my components because they are located far apart. Plus, it had trouble controlling my Pioneer Receiver for some reason.

So basically what I need is a remote (or even an IR extender) that will let me control multiple components from behind a screen. Preferrably one that has small IR modules so I can place them near the IR sensor on the equipment.

Any help on this would be GREATLY appreciated!!

I can't help you, but that definetly sucks. My equipment is behind my screen also, but everything except the dish 508 is below the screen. The dish receiver has a RF remote, so I am able to use it even behind the screen.

Any way you can place your equipment below the screen?

You might try a Hot Link Pro IR extender. It has 6 IR emitters with the control unit.
Enjoy!

That looks like it may work. Thanks Mike!

Anybody out there tried one of these? Do they work pretty good?
