Hi all,
The wife and I are thinking of moving to DirecTV from DISH to get a PVR and 2nd room receiver for cheap. We were looking at the Hughes HDVR2 (model # ?), which is a series 2 Tivo unit.
My question is what are the DirecTivo offereing that include HDTV going to be later this year? If we could get both Tivo and HDTV in one package, that would probably be reason enough to wait 6-9 months and get a deal then. We are not unhappy with our DISH service, it's just cheaper to switch than upgrade within an existing service (ps - we know about the DISH 921, it will likely just be too expensive for us.)
Can anyone point me to the new HDirecTivo units arriving this Xmas, or provide details? Thanks...
