After all the false rumored dates, including April 15th it has now been officially announced as being released on May 27th.

I hope it lives up to all the praise it's been getting lately.

I'm just curious why the DVD news sites haven't mentioned this as my source received this announcement last week.

Surely other video business insiders must have the same details by now?

DVDAngle.com stated that Universal has it slated for an April 29th release.

Digital Bits is also reporting May 27, so I'd go with that date. Count me in for this one...superb film.
