Just went to get my eyes examined again after the first time in 1997.
Glasses broke so I needed some new ones. Heh, I know your supposed to be paying attention to whats going on, but with a few lovley ladies in that office there, my eyes tended to veer away from the Glacoma(sp) tester in typical guy fashion without even realizing what I was doing ... Wonder how often they tend to get eye wanderers in there, heh.
That, and the air blowing machine was annoying enough that it didn't take much to have you try and look elsewhere, heh.
Anyway, The doctor there said that when my liscence is renewed, I don't really need driving glasses anymore because my eyes must have improved since the first time. He said that when it's renewed, you should be able to give them the perscription and they can take that requirment off.
Can anyone else fill me in on this, or the procedure needed to make it happen? I'm so used to having the glasses on now, that I'll probably continue to wear them anyway, but it would be nice not to need them for short trips to the food store and such.
Thanks!
